What Smooth Operator FX is
Smooth Operator FX is a rules-based Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. The reference implementation is focused on EUR/USD M1 and is offered in two sizing variants: Prop-Safe, which uses a fixed/reference balance for planned sizing, and Compound, which uses current balance.
What the product is not
Smooth Operator FX is not a broker, prop firm, managed account or investment-advisory service. It does not guarantee profits, account growth, funded-account approval or compliance with a third party's rules. Buyers remain responsible for broker selection, account rules, platform operation and trading risk.
How performance is presented
The performance figures published on this site are historical MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester simulations unless a page explicitly says otherwise. The backtest page publishes the test window, trade counts, profit factor, win rate, drawdown, source chart exports and material limitations. Simulated results are not brokerage statements or verified live performance.
Why the risk pages are separate from the return pages
A large historical return can distract from how a system actually controls exposure. The risk-controls page therefore documents the reference stop, planned-risk settings, daily-loss logic, floating P/L treatment and the difference between Prop-Safe and Compound independently of headline performance.
How buyers can evaluate the software
A protected seven-day demo is available to verify installation, activation and broker behavior on one MT5 account/server combination. The free EA test kit adds a practical checklist, worksheet and execution-cost calculator so evaluation is not limited to screenshots.
Independent review and transparency
Reviewers and trading educators can use the reviewer resources for product facts and evaluation materials. The goal is to make the setup, losing side, limitations and evidence type visible enough that an independent reviewer can reach their own conclusion.
